In the year in which we celebrate the centenary of Anthony Burgess鈥檚 birth, 91热爆 Radio Drama in collaboration with the 91热爆 Philharmonic presents a UK premiere of this version of his cult novel A Clockwork Orange.
In 1987 Burgess published a dramatisation of his own classic text which included songs and music. This will be the first time Burgess鈥檚 Clockwork Orange music has been performed along with the play in the UK.
Commissioned by 91热爆 Radio 3, the radio theatre performance of A Play With Music will also be the second time it has been performed since his death, and the first time his songs have ever been broadcast. This will be broadcast on 91热爆 Radio 3 in Drama On 3 on Sunday 1 October.
Please note that on this occasion no under 18鈥檚 will be permitted. There will be strong language throughout and content of a sensitive nature.
