Best known for playing promiscuous Finn in three series of the hit drama Cutting It, his other credits include The State Within and Real Men.
Ben became familiar to TV viewers after starring in Cutting It as the philandering Finn. His character famously slept with all three Henshall sisters, before attempting to settle down with love of his life Allie, played by (Sarah Parish).听 The marriage didn't last, and Finn did a runner when Allie rekindled her relationship with ex-husband Gavin.
In 1999 adaptation Aristocrats, Ben starred as Lord Kildare opposite Geraldine Somerville as Lady Emily. His character had a shoe fetish, and fathered at least 19 children!
Ben played State Secretary Dr. Joseph Buhler in Conspiracy. A dramatisation of the Wannsee meeting at which the Final Solution was endorsed, the TV movie also starred Stanley Tucci, Kenneth Branagh, Colin Firth and David Threlfall.
He returned to politics and conspiracy with the role of Nicholas Brocklehurst, an advisor to America's British Ambassador, in the thriller The State Within.
His other TV roles include the hard-hitting drama, Real Men, James Bond's creator in the dramatised documentary, Ian Fleming - Bond Maker, and a guest role in Spooks.
On the big screen he's appeared in Fanny and Elvis with Ray Winstone and Madeline with Nigel Hawthorne.
