Each Monday from 6pm on 91热爆 Radio Devon, Kev Hutchings presents a round up of the Devon music scene with live sessions, interviews with local acts and a weekly gig guide.

Kev is no stranger to the Devon music scene - he has presented several editions of Devon Demos and the Friday night late show's live music slot - and he's excited at being able to share his love of local music with you every week.

"One thing I'm keen to do is to show listeners there are lots of local bands and artists on our own doorstep, making fresh and exciting music.

"It may be a band that regularly plays in the pub down the road, or a singer who records in a local studio."

Each week Kev is joined in the studio by a featured artist or group for a chat about life as a local musician. They're invited to play a live set too.

There's also the chance to hear the newest tracks from local artists whose CD's land on Kev's desk by the sack load.

"The best thing about this job is I get to listen to new music by local acts everyday and it's exciting not knowing what I'm going to hear next."

The Devon music scene has never been as eclectic and as exciting as it is now, so whether you're a fan of rock, folk, soul, punk, pop or electronic, "91热爆 Devon Introducing" is the programme to bring all the genres together.
