Newquay's Fistral beach - the capital of the country's surfing locations, host the pro-junior event. This year it has stepped up to a two star rating, making it the highest rated event on the UK Pro surf tour.

There are four categories: Under 12's, Under 16's, Under 16 girls and Pro Junior.

There's a prize for a particular manoeuvre. 拢250 will be given to the person who performs the biggest Ally Oop Aerial.

The competition aims to seek out potential surfing champions of the future. Last year's winner, Newquay's Tom Butler, is achieving good results in adult classes against some of the country's top surfers.听 He's also become the English National Champion.
