Monday 6 July 2009Well what a hectic and interesting week of broadcasting. From angry train commuters stuck in dirty toilets to passengers frustrated that trains didn't turn up on time. Despite a glowing report that says First Great Western is getting much better. It was great to hear about their experiences good and bad… We spoke to Roy in Gwinear about the art courses he wanted to do. He's been told he can get concessionary fees because of new rules and regulations. So we got Penwith on to explain what's happened. We also had Malcolm from Truro come into the studio. He was fuming because he said his bio-degradable garden waste bags were not fit for purpose. The council admitted the batch of around 80,000 that were recently bought would have to go back. Basically they were decomposing within days of getting wet. I loved speaking to Max in Bodmin. He called up about water bills but ended up telling me about why he moved to Cornwall from Italy and ended up wooing the team with his Italian. The girls on the phones were swooning!
