Surveys show that young people in Britain spend a very small part of their free time with their families and the majority with their peer group, lives unsupervised by adults. What do they do, where do they go? Lanyon is 14 and he says all of his friends have computers and mobiles to communicate with each other.Ìý He rarely spends time with his family preferring to be out with his mates on the streets or riding around in cars.
