Gig RowingYou are in: Cornwall > Gig Rowing > St Goran Regatta  St Goran RegattaHundreds of rowers enjoyed the action when the gig boats came to Gorran near Mevagissey earlier in August for the village's annual regatta. See the results and photos from the day. The annual St Goran Regatta saw several of Cornwall's gig rowing teams taking to the water at Gorran Haven near Mevagissey. The racing got underway at 1pm on Saturday 4 August 2007. A pig roast, awards ceremony and the famous bale tossing took place later in the day.
