Capturing the action "Our ladies have been coming on in leaps over the past season and so it's great to see them taking home a cup," says Helford River Gig Club chairman Simon Hill. "While it's great that the club is doing so well on the score board, there are other achievements that we are just as proud of with three junior crews on the water and two novice members getting their first race today. "Encouraging young people and newcomers into the sport is vital to keep it alive. Flushing and Mylor have put on a great event and we are really pleased to be here – it's always a brilliant way to spend an afternoon."
