John Brolly from St Buryan has spent years working as a Tony Blair look-a-like. As soon as Tony Blair became leader of the Labour Party, John Brolly has been told, almost on a daily basis, that he looks like the politician. John turned this look to his advantage and has been seen all over the world as the Prime Minister.

"I have done commercials in South Africa, and been to Amsterdam, but mainly in London," says John. "If I am wearing a suit people will come up to me and start talking about issues," smiles John. "I have been stopped on a train, in the street, and in a hospital waiting room. John has been working as a Blair look-a-like for seven years. He appeared in the television show called 'Double Take' which won a Bafta Award for its innovation. It so John acting in bizarre situations. "I had saunas with George Bush, I even did a cheek-to-cheek dance with George Bush, with both of us dressed like Fred Astaire," smiles John. John has never bumped into the real Tony Blair, but has met many of the Prime Minister's friends. John Brolly can also copy the Prime Minister's voice. He appeared as a guest on James Churchfield's Breakfast Show on Thursday 10 May, the same day Tony Blair announced to the world's the date he would be leaving Number 10, Downing Street.
