At the other end east bound traffic will be re-routed onto the west bound carriageway just after the Innis Downs junction, so that the new dual carriageway can be connected to the Bodmin by-pass. The constructors, Alfred McAlpine, are hoping to have the road finished before the end of听 June, up to a month ahead of schedule. Plans are already underway for the official opening, although a date hasn't yet been set. However, as many as 4000 people will get to walk, cycle or jog down the new A30 on the 1 April 2007.听The local Rotary, Lions and Round Table Clubs have been working with Alfred McAlpine and the Highways Agency to organise a charity event.
