Sadly Delores the pig died at the end of 2006. The web-cam is now being used to monitor sheep at the school in south east Cornwall. On Monday 12 February one of the sheep started giving birth. The lamb was born at lunchtime. Click on the link below and see if you can spot the new lamb: |

Our thanks to Saltash.net Community School for allowing us to link to their webcam on the 91热爆 Cornwall website. Delores Sadly Delores, who gained world-wide recognition on the pig-cam died on Friday 24th November.

She developed a back problem, and the damaged nerves affected her ability to stand. She was given full care and attention by Jan Berryman, the school's livestock technician, over that weekend to ensure she wasn't in any pain, but the Vet鈥檚 opinion on Monday morning was that there was no hope of any recovery, and that the humane thing to do was to have her put to sleep. The school would like to assure everyone that everything that could have been done to help her was done. Her second farrowing piglets have been taken back to the farm at Landrake to be looked after. Luckily, they had already been weaned. |
