91热爆 Cornwall's Tiffany Truscott interviews member of the film festival board George Greene for Cornwall Connected. He talks about the film festival's roots. He says: "We started the film festival about three years ago and its grown from humble beginnings to become one of the events of the year and is always a sell-out. "In the first year they got about 100 films in from Cornish film-makers and now three years on there are around 140 and the festival has become a mecca for film-makers in Cornwall to get together once a year to see each others work and work by leading film-makers else where." Films such as The Constant Gardener and The Wrecking Season are special as they both have connections and an affinity with Cornwall. George says: "We are very pleased to be showing both films. The Wrecking season is a film about The late play write Nick Darke who many of us knew well, and directed by his wife Jane who actually won best new director at the Celtic Film Festival for it." "There is a fantastic range of films being shown at the festival this year. Starting on the Friday we have a three part film by Ken Loach, on Saturday is The Constant Gardener and Sunday The Wrecking Season and in between a host of animation, documentary, drama and more. Its well worth seeing as the standard is so high."
