Peter Pan is one of the greatest and most loved classic stories of all time and a brand new version has come flying into Cornwall for the Christmas panto season.

In a sparkling new version written especially for Hall for Cornwall and 'tweaked' into a pantomime by Richard Gauntlett, Peter Pan (played by Cornish based actress and star of The Brittas Empire) Jill Greenacre will be engaging in a fight to the death with the fearsome Captain Hook played by former Blue Peter presenter Peter Duncan.

Joining them on this magical adventure will be Cornwall favourites Butler and Brown, as Smee, the bumbling pirate, and Dame Delia, the pirate's chief cook and bottlewasher.

There is plenty to hiss, boo and cheer, with all the fun of pantomime.

The daft Dame, the knockabout nasty pirates ... not forgetting Nana the Dog, Claude the tick-tocking Crocodile, the magical fairy Tinkerbell, Tiger Lily the Indian Princess and a gang of lost boys ... and girls!

With stunning sets and costumes and spectacular flying effects right over the heads of the audience, this promises to be the most fun-packed adventure ever seen in Truro.
