As part of Radio 1 on the Road, the station came down Plymouth to present a weekend of dance parties, live music and live shows.

On Sunday evening at 9pm, Alex Parks co-presented the Sunday Surgery with Emma B and Dr Mark Hamilton from Plymouth University. The phone in programme is aimed to help teenagers and young people with any love, health or relationship problems.

Alex was there to offer her advice to the nation and to perform a special live acoustic version of 'Maybe That's What it Takes'. From personal problems, embarrassing infections to relationship ruts, Alex was faced with it all! Listen to our report on the evening. Alex's second single 'Cry' is out in the shops this week and will feature in the charts on Sunday. We've previewed the first week in the charts. Listen to our report on 'Cry'.
