he's going to get tough on countries who pledged billions of dollars to Haiti but haven't delivered yet.

Americans on the (and other sites) say the Secretary of State and the former President have got to sort out their priorities.

G52:This is an outrage! How about some support for retraining American workers and shoring up unemployment? We could also use some of that for education! IN THIS COUNTRY!

Rchwel: The day of buying pseudo friends and setting up puppet governments has to end, to hell with Pakistan, Iraq and Afghanistan, let's take care of Americans first !

This week's has been tainted by the UN and major aid agencies expressing their fear that wealthy donor nations may cut funding because of global recession.

Here in the UK, the British Government is due to announce a prompting .

'Why increase aid to Afghanistan by 40pc when troops are dying from a lack of body armour and helicopters? The pledge to not just protect but vastly increase the aid budget is one which, polls show, leaves the public puzzled'

it goes on

'Then there is India. Cameron is on a trade trip there later, asking how Britain can get a slice of the money from this booming country (we tend to export to economies that aren't growing). But while Cameron wants some Indian cash, DFID is sending money the government doesn't have to India in aid projects. There is no logic to this. '

What's wrong with a government putting its own people first? Is there a moral responsibility to prioritise the world's most vulnerable?
