The Israeli Army says that more than 10 people have been killed after its commandos stormed ships carrying aid to Gaza. See video footage from the ship .

has been swift. The Turkish government said it might cause to its relations with Israel.
Many of the people on board the boats are Turkish.

Israeli newspaper speculates this could lead to a 3rd intifada, or Palestinian uprising, and says

The damage that Israel has caused itself internationally can hardly be exaggerated.

But the Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister, Daniel Ayalon, said the on board.

On the deck we found weapons which were used against the forces. The organizers' intent was violent and the results were unfortunate.

Thousands of people are talking about this. From KPinSEA says

This is simply an act of piracy in international waters. When does our government stop providing military sustenance to this rogue state? We are co-conspirators in these murders as long as we pay for the bullets.
But belyeu points out
"Video clips clearly show so-called peace activists beating IDF troops with clubs and iron bars. Reports state that activists also used knives and tried to seize the weapon of one soldier." Seems to me like Israelis are not allowed to defend themselves without criticism.

On Twitter Jew4palestine says:

Israel propaganda starting in Italy: activists have opened fire. What with? Bananas?

Karoli:
unarmed people shot in international waters, no less. it's a disaster for Israel...and the families of those who died.

And rohansingh tweets

Seriously, Israel? I understand Gaza is complicated, but shooting civilians in international waters is not cool.
