A report to be discussed at a council meeting today, says it is not feasible for a secondary schools to have fewer than 600 pupils. And primary schools with less than 80 pupil places could be run with one headteacher running a group of several schools.

North Wales Police and Flintshire County Council have started to operate a dispersal order in a bid to prevent large numbers of youths congregating in Cornist Park and the Windsor Drive areas of the town.
