We call it cross platform working; when material made for radio, telly or the web can be used on the other platforms too. It's not just cut up and re-used, it's adapted to suit the medium.

Take for example 91Èȱ¬ Radio Wales's series Past Master series and tonight's programme, Rayon Queens.

Producer Tracy Cardwell contacted former workers of Courtaulds' mills in Flintshire for the programme through our local history section dedicated to the staff who worked there and who share photos and memories about the place to this day. You can hear them on the programme tonight and it's online for a week after broadcast.

Meanwhile, listeners to the Roy Noble show will also be able to hear more of our contributors - in particular the memories of people who spoke to us for an audio project about WWII and the home front. Roy is using them as part of his series looking towards the start of next week's new TV series, Coal House at War.

Finally, it's our turn to be in spotlight. We're more used to making programmes and websites but staff here in the Wrexham office made a short film to explain more about what we do. It's to be played on our stand at 91Èȱ¬ Wales's Here for You Roadshow at NEWI's [Glyndwr University] sports hall on Sunday. But you're welcome to come and see us for yourself.

The roadshow is free and open all day and if you need more incentive there are presenters from 91Èȱ¬ Wales TV and radio programmes coming too - and you can also have a go at reading the news and weather or try sports commentating.

We hope to see you there!
