Every county councillor in Flintshire could soon be given their own laptop, printer and IT software - at a cost of £100,000 to the taxpayer.

Motorists parking illegally were hit with fines totalling up to £200,000 from when the council launched its new local authority enforcement team in March, until September. The top hot spot for on-street parking flouters was the Grosvenor Ward near the town centre, where 1,157 tickets were handed out, followed by Offa where 580 were slapped on vehicles, and Brynyffynnon where 404 drivers were caught out.
