has updated its website saying there has been a minor landslip at St Asaph due to the torrential rain - but there are no such updates from Wrexham Council and Flintshire Council.

The reports on a five-car crash on the Wrexham-Chester border and there are floods causing problems for motorists in Abergele. Meanwhile, the says the fire service has had call-outs with crews pumping out flood water from buildings and roads in Amlwch, Abergele, Bethesda, Caernarfon, Carmel, Llanfair Talhaiarn and Trefriw.

Whenever we have floods I'm reminded of the old stories from people in Bangor on Dee and how they kept an eye on a marker on the stone bridge as it signalled whether the town was to be flooded. People have also shared memories of the floods of Towyn in 1990.
