Another Wenglish entry as dwi'n dysgu Cymraeg [I'm learning Welsh]

Fellow blogger is putting together a yn Gymraeg [in Welsh] and is asking people to suggest the good places to go, drink, eat, stay, and visit whilst in town yn ystod [during] the Eisteddfod.

If you don't wish to ysgrifennu at [write to] Rhys yn Gymraeg achos, fel fi [because, like me] you are a dysgwr [learner] or ddim yn medru siarad yng Nghymraeg [unable to speak Welsh], Rhys invites you to email him via .

Dwi'n awgrymu [I suggest] the Ruthin Castle, popular with learners, and generally a friendly pub as well as the Delyn Wine Bar, if a little smoky - but not for long [see ]. Beth amdana chi [what about you] - any suggestions?

PS. A friend pointed out the above nasal mutation of 'Gymraeg' to 'yng Nghymraeg' - can you explain to me why it is? I am beginning to know when such a mutation sounds right but I don't know why it changes. Diolch yn fawr [thanks very much]
