Work on Rhyl's impressive Promenade project, the £3.8m , is now due for completion in September, according to a press release just issued by Denbighshire Council.
Although the completion date is over schedule, apparently due to unforeseen ground work, the council is confident the Drift Park - turning seven acres of the West promenade into a leisure area - will prove to be a major boost for the town.
