Well, there's certainly plenty of things to see and do around the region this Bank Holiday weekend with loads of local events - but will you be bothered to get out there and get in a queue of traffic? It might be worth it...
Llandudno is set to be one of the busiest places along the coast with thousands expected to flock to a three day Victorian festival and a major transport festival expected to attract enthusiasts from across the UK.
In Holywell, there is an annual Cadi Ha folk festival with dancers from across Wales, plus a guest team of 40 dancers and musicians from Brittany.
To continue the theme, Meinir Gwilym, the folk-rock singer songwriter is at Llangollen's Royal International Pavilion on Saturday. (By the way, it has just been announced that Cerys Matthews is to give an intimate gig in Llangollen as part of the Fringe Festival in July -
Meanwhile, Rhuddlan Castle is hosting a medieval festival with 'street entertainment' and demonstrations including archery, fire making, and cooking etc.
And over at Denbigh Castle there is clog dancing - and clogs can be loaned if you fancy having a go!
In Rhyl, the Pavilion is hosting An Evening with Joan Collins.
But if you fancy something outdoors, you could try one of the guided or self-guided walks in NE Wales. For info, Wrexham Walking Week starts May 14.
