A North Antrim News Blackout?
Is it just me or does anyone else out there detect a sense of personal empathy in a statement from Ian Paisley Junior on Prince Harry's military service in Afghanistan? In commending the Prince's decision to serve in the frontline against the Taliban, Ian Jr., another son from a famous family, points out "not only has he had to operate under the immense pressure and stress that active service brings, but he has had to deal with the scrutiny of the ever present media examining his every move and just hoping he will make a mistake they can report".
What are the chances the local media will go into a huddle to consider a news blackout on Ian Jr. as he returns to the Ballymena front line to battle for the right to inherit his father's Westminster seat?

How dare he try to equate himself with Prince Harry. Prince Harry has had a proper job since he left school and has shown that living life in the public eye without the support of his mother can be done. I would say "Well Done Harry" and when you made mistakes you were man enough to apologise. In my eyes and many others you are a Real Man!
So IP Jnr thinks the media sat about hoping he made a mistake?
More like they were hoping they could keep up with his mistakes.
He's a tube.
As a republican of the small r variety I was pleased to see one of the royal family actually do something worthwhile. Also by becoming an army grunt he finally stepped out of the shadow cast by his father and older brother. By contrast Mr Paisley Junior seems more than content wallowing in his fathers shadow.
The thought of doing bussiness with any of the Paisley's leaves me breathless. "Be sure your sins will find you out"Whatsoever a man sows that shall he also reap" I think these quotes say it all. We are wondering what next?
