The "Good Old Troubles"

At the weekend the 91Èȱ¬ repeated Jim McDowell's programme about comedy during the bad old days "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way Through The Troubles". Then today an academic report found that people in Whiterock in West Belfast think things have got worse since the Good Friday Agreement. They are apparently missing the days when there was more of a sense of community cohesion and the paramilitaries supposedly kept drugs off the streets.

So are we about to get a wave of troubles nostalgia?
