Short and sweet?

Betsan Powys | 09:31 UK time, Wednesday, 27 June 2007

Back in the harness properly today and what a day ...

Musings on polls, fading rainbows, answers to questions asked days ago and much more to come.

And yes, I've seen Adam Price's blog.

A hint comes from Conference Room 20 downstairs that Plaid's group meeting will be short and therefore, by definition, reasonably sweet. Jocelyn Davies and Leanne Wood went for a last minute cigarette, Gareth Jones looked like a condemned man who might like one. The next thing we get a call saying they'll be done by 10.

When there is news, I'll let you know.

Adam Price (blog) re-reading his Toni Gramsci paperback on the bus?

From a "War of Position" to "Plaid hegenomy" to "Welsh Independence"...
and on perhaps...to "Socialism in One Country"? ...Or more correctly, as it's "Plaid "New" Gramsci Gradualism",..in "One (N.Wales) County"?

All we need is a Welsh "Stalin".

er...is Helen Mary free?

NO? So that's THAT project off the agenda then innit!

Will Ieuan Wyn Jones take the post of First Minister by leading the Labour party up the garden path until tomorrow, only to slam the front door in their face and form an alliance with the others at the earliest opportunity? Or will he cook-up a Red-Green tomato coalition with Labour and possibly demonstrate that they are made up of those that 'Can't Govern' (on their own) and those that 'Won't Govern' (lacking the nerve).

I hope they went outside for a cigarette - perhaps to that specially constructed smoking shelter that they had built - cost the same as my apartment :>D

If Plaid join with Labour today it will be then end of Plaid as a party in Wales.

Adam Price is fighting for his own seat. Brown said he would have a snap election and Price decides to ensures his voters know he is still socialist at heart. Best time to do it? On the cusp of Wales almost getting its' first ever modern parliament. He will never be forgiven if he has helped us lose this opportunity.

Plaid in Wales want a Rainbow.
