I'm the 91Èȱ¬'s media correspondent and this is my brief selection of what's going on.

Radio listening is at an all time high, with record figures for Radio 4, Radio 1, Radio 5Live and 6 Music according to Rajar, the organisation who collect radio listening figures. Chris Evans has lost a million listeners in three months but is still beating Terry Wogan's record, reports the 91Èȱ¬.

James McAvoy, Emily Blunt, Bill Nighy and Pete Postlethwaite are among more than , urging the Government to rethink its plan to close the UK Film Council. They say it earns Britain £5 for every £1 invested.
