fog fog fog
looking out over the rooftops of central london there isn't a plane in the sky. this could be for two reasons:
a. all of the planes have been grounded because of the fog
b. we just can't see the planes because of the fog
we're talking to a lady on Saturday Live this week about what you do when you are stranded in a foreign city because the planes can't fly you home - she was trapped in chicago after the terrorist attacks of september 11th.
we'd love to hear your fog bound stories too - do get in touch.
i know you're busy with the christmas wrapping and all that, but it's always a joy to hear from you and my present can wait a little while. it's kind of you to have bought me anything at all really....
best festive wishes and all

Really enjoyed the programme, as usual. Terribly disappointed I could not locate the 'ode to the brussell sprout' - wanted to read it to the family after lunch. They rebel when I insist on tradition.
Complain about this postWhere oh where is this poem. Tried all the links.
My Best Wishes to Saturday Live in the New Year.
Complain about this postEnjoyed the prog. this am as always. I'm just letting you know the gremlins are on the loose, just tried to link via R4 todays prog. list but Saturday Live has been given the Saturday Review button, so Tom Sutcliffe is getting a double billing.....
All the best for the coming year and many thanks for the great starts to my Saturdays of 2006.
Complain about this postHi Helen Davis
If it is the poem Ode to the Brussels Sprout by Talisker, you need to go to greatwriting.co.uk or search for the poem as titled here.
