It's not normally the function of this blog to act as a recruitment agency, but here's what could be an interesting job - .

Some past comments from a senior royal official suggest they could indeed benefit from assistance from someone with a good grasp of FOI law.

Knowledge of Freedom of Information law an advantage? Yes but hasn't that law become somewhat of a moveable feast of late?

Buckingham Palace is interesting if only because Richard Thomas's office was recently advicing young people to be careful putting stuff on sites like Facebook about themselves in case the material harmed them somehow. In seeking employment later perhaps? Or for a job lined up?

The truth will set you free to be unemployed perhaps. Or open to blackmail bacause of a youthful discretion?

Better to obfiscate? And make it your way of life from then on? I know what Mr Thomas means but if we have to become so knowing at such a young age? Dear me.

Men and women in public life today have to know they may become well known later according to todays society. Be it politician, thespian, business person or the nations football manager. Woe betide you if you were young once.

So let us look at the young lives of the media hatchet men and women shall we? Oh no came back the cry. "We are not the story".

Off course not, Malcolm! (TV advert circa 1980)
