One out of two ain't great. You didn't predict the Robinson. How do you feel about being quoted by Cameron?
Never mind who quotes who, when will somebody call a halt to these planted "questions" from Labour backbenchers, the sole purpose of which is to give TB an opportunity to quote a few more statistics and look wonderful for a minute.
It's not big, it's not clever and it perverts the course of what should be a serious opportunity to question the Prime Minister.
BTW, does Mr Robinson agree with me that, describing himself on a recent repeat of "University Challenge" as "A poor man's Andrew Marr" is an act of modesty above and beyond the call of duty?

Forgive me for being a bit picky and choosy, but this is the last thing I would say if I was going into an election and asking the proletariat to vote for me.

He doesn't want to remove your human rights, Gary, he wants the Act to reflect the feelings of the people. At present, the people feel that the Human Rights Act is actually taking away the rights of the people, but protecting the yobs, felons, murderers and terrorists. I will certainly vote for this man, and I believe a majority of the country will agree with me.
PMQs is theatre it's not a serious examination of the Prime Minister or his Government.
Planted questions are part and parcel of the theatre and you can tell when a Prime Minister is rattled when he starts asking the Leader of HM's Opposition questions TOTALLY unrelated to the question he's just been asked.
Wilson resigned out of the blue and is remembered with affection by all.
Thatcher was ousted and is remembered, by her party at least, with affection.
Blair is lame & cornered and everyone will breath a huge sigh of relief when he's gone.

I suspect that you are deluded over the type of interest this will demonstrate amongst what you quaintly term the 'proletariat'. Will they say "Oh my! I am now oppressed!" or will they say "Hurrah! One in the eye for the Frogs, get your thieving hands off my country!"
I bet you £20 it's the latter.
It appears that I have got Dave's Human Rights ACT argument all wrong.

Cameron has got it wrong, we do not need a "Rights" bill or anything else resembling such. Bills like that are passed by autarchic states, as it allows the state total control over the people. What is granted can always be taken away if the people misbehave. Rather like the quote from Brecht? after the East German uprising, that perhaps the state should do away with the people and try again. We needs to be done is to get rid of the ECHR and regain our original laws which are prefectly adequate.
