The wide shots with Nick caught hunched to one side, listening to the MPs, are very amusing. Nice to know we are part of the room. :-)

I'm intrigued by the desk you're all sat around. In closeup, it looks like there are lots of computer monitors underneath a central glass section for old Dimbles to look at, but the view from above shows a coloured centre, with no monitors visible.

Has somebody gone to the trouble of superimposing a tidy desk top on there? Throw your mars bar wrappers into the middle so we can see what happens!

I'm suprised Labour has done so well in Manchester. I live in Ardwick and, talking with people here, I thought the Lib Dems would do better than it appears they have. I only received one leaflet through the door (from Labour) and didn't get the chance to talk with any of the candidates.

It's a complete farce and a disregard to the voting population. If the votes are equal then it should be controlled jointly, no-one democratically elected the tories, they selected the right envelope.

Either re-ballot or have joint control.

On the issue of trust, the government and the media, can you remind Ms Jowell (Offshore morgages r us)that in a recent independent poll the more people trust the media than the government. What does that say about the government she represents.

Nick it is great to hear your musings on the 91Èȱ¬. I used to love listening to you on ITN but it always seemed you were being chased by the Ads. Now you are on the serious political channel your insight is fascinating.
