Did he just call us voters 'pathetic?' And that a vote was an 'abboration?'

I am a european citizen (portuguese national)who stood for election in Southwark.
I am curious to know how many, if any, other european citizens have stood as candidates elsewhere in London or in the whole of England, by the way, are theses citizens considered ethnic minorities?

Is there going to be an official investigation into the power cut?

Could it, I wonder, have anything to do with the inability of the National Grid to properly predict or respond to the all the extra demand for power there must be in your part of the world this night of the year..?

Cynically, when I woke again at 3.30am after a brief sleep, seeing News 24's graphics on screen I immediately assumed the promised all-night was in fact a con and you'd all gone home at 2am. I apologise for jumping to this conclusion.

Hasn't anyone notices that the Labour Leader of Hounslow London Borough has lost his seat and his two ward collegues to three Tories as Labour lose Hounslow to NOC?

I have to say, the Liberal Democrat knows why they were crushed in Islington. They forced tenants to have renovations they either didnt want or was botched. THAT AND THE FACT THEY VOTED THEMSELVES WAGE INCREASES WAS THE REASON WE VOTED THEM OUT.

Meltdown? Who predicted that? The Labour party did. Do the Labour party really think that people are that stupid. Admit they have lost, badly, accept that its there fault, apologise for the errors and just get on with it. One of the worst things a politician says is..."what I think people are trying to say is..." Ive just listened to pus dpm office and he has come out with nearly every sound bite he could think of....

I was greatly enjoying the coverage and, despite the temptations of sleep, remained patient until you came back.

The 91Èȱ¬ team is calm and authoritative and also knew how to prod the politicians in the correct direction. The wriggling from the government side was embarrassingly obvious to all. The decision to wait for London before coming to conclusions was also proved to be spot on. What looked at 3am like a mediocre night for the opposition started to transform into something very different as results came in from the South and South East.

The efforts to keep going from the Counting House Pub were simply heroic, although it would have been nice for Internet viewers to be told what had happened and why there had been an initial substantial period of 91Èȱ¬ News 24 followed by a very low-tech presentation from the pub. When the presenter finally mentioned what had happened and the truth was obvious it was evident that a huge effort had been made to hold the breech in the most difficult possible circumstances. A big pat on the back to your presenter there.
