Bury lass goes to heaven
- 2 May 08, 10:26 AM
During his report on the local elections in Bury last night, Newsnight's Political Editor Michael Crick recalled a rhyme about the town his grandmother used to tell him.
By popular demand - here it is:
I dreamt I was dead and to heaven did go,
Where did you come from? They wanted to know,
I said I'm from Bury,
And St Peter did stare,
He said step inside lass,
You're the first one from there.
Watch Michael's report .

I am certain it will be on hunky Ephraim's face book worthy of a poke I am sure
As sure as night is dark and day is light
I keep you on my mind both day and night
And happiness I've known proves that it's right
Because you're mine,
I walk the line ....
Thanks very much Peter ;-)
