In the immediate aftermath of his maiden European Tour victory, Tom Lewis' mobile phone predictably went into overdrive.

Congratulatory calls and texts ensured it continued to vibrate throughout the hours that followed the 20-year-old's stunning .

One call Lewis managed to answer was from his coach , who seemingly spends most Sunday evenings contacting victorious charges.
