Caroline Cartwright from Washington escaped a jail sentence yesterday despite her which was imposed after neighbours complained about her incessant cries of passion.

One of the joys of my job is that I get to see virtually every nook and cranny of the North East & Cumbria.

These past couple of weeks I've been to Teesdale, Weardale, Sunderland, Jarrow and North Northumberland. In the stunning weather we've been having they all looked fantastic in the brilliant sunshine. But my to award has to go to.......
