Two days to go... We rehearse tomorrow, although the idea of rehearsing Autumnwatch Unsprung is a bit of a contradiction!

Thank you very much for your questions and comments so far. Great stuff. Do please keep them coming. A few hours ago the Your movies section of the website went live so if you would like to ask a question in person or have a bit of a rant, perhaps you could film yourself and upload it to our website. If you do, please choose the 'Questions for Autumnwatch Unsprung' category.

So much better to have you actually asking the questions in person rather than me rabbiting on all the time. Oh and another thing, we hope to have a Nature Table going on in Unsprung, so if you find anything weird and wonderful please could you film, photograph or just describe it and send it in for Chris, Kate and Simon to identify - or just be amazed by!

I have just got back from a long distance cycle ride, a sort of calming break before the storm. In one of the farmhouse B&Bs I stayed in, after my much needed bath, the lovely landlady asked me if I would like to meet the newest member of the family.

She led me into the kitchen, where I couldn't believe my eyes! There was a... well... I will reveal all in Unsprung!

And, it gave us another idea, do you or anyone you know have any amazing pets out there? Unusual members of UK wildlife that have come to share your lives? If so, do please let level-headed Joe and me know by commenting below.

Right, here's the progress on the studio taken just minutes ago with two of our cameramen, Wilf and Max, hard at it. The transformation is almost complete.

Finally, thank you so much for your really kind toothache sympathy and remedy suggestions. Three cheers for my local NHU dentist. I got an emergency appointment with him and he performed a miracle! I do have to go back tomorrow for a bit more work. So if it goes wrong I might sound a little bit weird on Friday...
