Title: Losing faith
by Amy from West Yorkshire | in writing, fiction
I remember that day so vividly everything was grey, the dull sodden tarmac that covered the playground, The sharply pointed iron railings that surrounded the playground, the never ending dull grey sky. But that didn't stop us our heads still whizzed with ideas and games 'tig', 'farmers in his den', 'fire men and women', 'doctors and nurses', 'the adventure game' or 'Harry Potter'. But one game idea stuck 'how about limbo?' tropical beaches sun adventure why not? And as we all slid under, the rope got lower and lower till it was too low. Too low for me anyway. My turn came closer and closer until I had to say it 'I can't do it' but a hand came out 'here take my hand, you can do it' then it was yanked away just like that. And I plummet to the cold hard concrete and everyone is laughing.
Something that happened years ago
