The Box
Office is open at 10am to 5pm, Monday to Friday and 10am to 4.30pm
on Saturday. The Theatre is open from 9am - 11pm Monday to Sunday.
The Old
Rep Theatre is a Grade II Listed Building which was built in 1913.
Sir Barry Jackson was the man behind the building. The Old Rep inspired
a long list of actors to tread the boards including Laurence Olivier,
Noel Coward, Paul Schofield and Derek Jacobi.
The Old Rep theatre is equipped with an Infra-red system for people
with hearing impairments.

Road
From the M6: From Junction 6 of the M6 follow the signs for Birmingham
Central. Follow the A38(M) for 2 miles (city centre). At the end of
the motorway, take the flyover signed M5 South West. Coming off the
flyover, pass under the tunnel following signs for Inner Ring Road
South. Take the next tunnel (Queensway). Follow signs for Bromsgrove
A38 which takes you to a third underpass. On surfacing, get in the
left hand lane and turn first left (Smallbrook Queensway). Take the
first left and parking is straight ahead.
From the M5: From Junction 4 follow the signs for Birmingham along
the A38 through Northfield and Selly Oak. Going over the traffic lights
at Bristol Street (McDonalds on your left), move into the left lane
(New Street Station). Passing the Dome II club on your left, move
into the right hand lane. At this roundabout (Holloway Circus). Take
third left (Smallbrook Queensway). Take the first left and parking
is straight ahead.
By Rail
New Street station is only a 5 minute walk away.
By Bus
Catch bus No.12 or 35. Those buses stop immediately outside the theatre
on Station Street. |
