The waterfront neighbourhood of 1950s Brooklyn is home to Italian
immigrant workers, cast adrift by poverty, on the very edges of the
American dream - all bound by Italian codes of justice, family values
and the strict laws of US immigration.
This classic American drama crackles with tension and betrayals as
Eddie Carbone’s obsession with his pretty orphaned niece spirals out
of control.
The arrival of two of his wife’s illegal immigrant cousins give rise
to a situation in which Eddie has to act in ways that shatter both
his family and his community.
Written in 1956 the questions raised by Miller in 'A View from the
Bridge' remain timelessly relevant.
Corey Johnson plays the role of the Eddie Carbone. As well as many
successful stage shows he’s recently completed filming the role of
Middleton in ‘Sound Of Thunder’, ‘Out To Kill’ with Steven Segal and
'Hellboy'.
