 Lions at the Arcadian Centre The Choy Lee Fut Kung Fu Academy are the British Council for Chinese Martial Arts (BCCMA) Traditional Lion Dance Champions for 2007. In recent years, Academy member Daniel has performed the lion dance at Birmingham's Chinese New Year celebrations, at the Arcadian Centre. Handmade from papier mache and bamboo, the lions are brightly coloured to warn off evil spirits.
