We failed this season because Steve Coppell made mistakes in not strengthening the squads and he was let down by several playing performances. On the whole Coppell proved what a great manager and person he was. Stay loyal to the royals. You have been fantastic and we know that u can get back to the premiership.

My 11 yr old son was very distraught at the final whistle . He took his framed photos of Murty, Harper and Doyle off his wall and his Reading FC duvet off his bed.

I would like to express my disgust at the ill informed attacks on our chairman and manager. Without John and Steve we would never have got anywhere.
