Howdy, from Ottawa, Canada. I'd like to make a request for a song please. My friend, Sidney Hall, is 91 blind as a bat, and lives in Maidenhead. He loves listening to your show. Could you please play for him "It was a very good year?" No particular artist specified. He's be thrilled if he heard his name mentioned on air, if you could?! Thank you very much,Sids friend, Michelle Norman

Hello David You ask for our top three pieces of music for your Saturday program and these are mine. 1] The Harry Lime Theme. My parents were film goers and took me with them to see The Third Man and this melody took hold of me and I have never tired of hearing it. 2] Placido Domingo and John Denver singing What if Love. These contrasting voices compliment one another so well and the words are lovely too. 3] So many songs etc. could fit into this slot and it is difficult to make my final choice, but the Pearl Fishers duet I have always enjoyed whoever sings it so I give the choice of perfomers to you David. Should you think my choice is worthy of broadcasting can you advise me of the date so I make sure I am not late in tuning in. Many thanks Teresa. My email is t.barneicott@ntlworld.com

good evening David as an addendum to my previous email I would like to request Weyland Rabbit by Seals and Crofts and would also like to dedicate this to my parents Sylvia and tony Hirst ( The Super Bwofs)from Henley who have spent the weekend cycling along the canal system somewhere in the Bath region. they are probably unconsious at present but are in my thought at this side of the pond in Totonto Canada. Have a great Guy Fawkes day.

just wanted to say how great it is to get back to the good ol days. Nothing like boogying while decorating the bathroom in Toronto Canada - seem to make it a habit - you make the Saturday afternoons very nostalgic. Please play anything that relates to painting or decorating
