The Wake鈥檚 first two home grown E.P.s, which sold out immediately, attracted the attention of Mike Hurst, the legendary record producer, who now manages the band. Mike, known as 鈥榟it-making Hurst鈥, has produced more than 50 top ten singles and has just produced The Wake鈥檚 first single Holly with two haunting B-sides, available for purchase online or at gigs for 拢3. Early in the new year, The Wake will be back in the studio with Mike to record the follow up single Life Like A Zoo, which mixes brit-pop and modern indie to create an excitingly fresh sound.
