History
Painterman came together in the summer of 2003 when lead singer Nick Nichols (formerly drummer with Newbury's other next big thing Big Boss Man), and lead guitarist Martin Fynn started to write fresh and immediate rockpopsoul songs together.
After some searching they were joined by bass player Martin Pawley, drummer James Pocock and Nick Seymour on organ. They are all from around the Newbury area in Berkshire, are similar ages, have all their own teeth and are all a hit with the ladie...
Having been together for little over a year, they have played a number of gigs in and around the Berkshire/Hampshire area including a support slot for chart toppers King Adora. Painterman have a numerous and loyal following and are always well received by the crowd.
