I bought this coin in the museum shop at Xian in China in 2001. It does not have much value but is a constant reminder to me of how ancient the Chinese civilisation is and how different their ways are to ours. The square hole in the centre of the coin just sums up for me the difference between their civilsation over 2000 years ago and our modern coinage. I like to hold it and think of the ancient times so far away in China.
