These items relate to the experiences of my great-uncle, L.E.Warren, who was a pilot officer originally from Taffs Well. He served in the RAF and was a member of the Caterpillar club (a club for people who had bailed out of a plane during the war). He flew many operations over Germany, Italy and France but was sadly shot down over Germany in March 1943 aged 35 years.
