These are some old insurance cheque books which I found in the loft of my house which was built in 1776. The insurance companies include Ancient Order of Forresters and Willingham and District Friendly Society. Some date back as early as 1877. Some of the names are of the people who lived locally in Willingham by Stow, and I found it surprising just how much some people received. (R Smith)
