A 1960's packet of clothes dyes. Clothes dyes have been used for centuries by the textile trade and in the home to dye jackets, blouses, shirts, dresses etc. The use of home dyes is almost a thing of the past due the relative low cost and availability of clothing today. Property of Robert Pool
