The Talking Toys book - Ella Pearce

This book belonged to my Great Nan Margretwhen she was 9 years old. It was a present from her parents for Christmas (1924). It has been passed along my family from that moment: Nan, mum, sister and now me!

My Great Nan died in 2007 and the book was then handed down. This book is special to me as it reminds me of my Great Nan and it has been enjoyed by many members of my family ever since.

I feel that this book tells me that stroy telling and books were an important pass-time when my Great Nan was Alive.
