A photograph of a converted pigeon loft which was made into a vehicle to collect funds for the Tank Bank during World War One, possibly taken in Lincoln's Castle Square. The fund raised money to build tanks. The picture shows Col Ruston, of the engineering firm Ruston Proctor and Co of Lincoln, with his wife and his grandson Joe. We bought it at auction over 30 years ago. (Gillian and John Pritchard)
